Upgrade 74 Update

Peoria, IL -

The following locations will be under construction as part of Upgrade 74. The work is weather permitting, and updates may be necessary. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.

Peoria:

• No new updates to report.

East Peoria:

• Motorists should expect a left lane closure on eastbound I-74 from Murray Baker Bridge to Main Street/IL-116 from 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, through, 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, for joint work. This work was originally scheduled to be completed Monday, Nov. 12, but due to weather conditions the project has been extended.
• Motorists should expect a right lane closure on eastbound I-74 from the Riverfront Drive entrance ramp to Main Street/IL-116 from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, for joint work. This work was originally scheduled to be completed Tuesday, Nov. 13, but due to weather conditions the project has been pushed back a day.
