Upgrade 74 Work for the Week of May 20, 2007

Peoria, IL -

For the week of May 20, 2007, the following locations will be under construction as part of Upgrade 74. The work is weather permitting, and updates may be necessary. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.

Peoria

• Motorists should expect intermittent lane reductions on eastbound and westbound War Memorial Drive from Sterling Avenue to Meadowbrook Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 19, for topsoil and slope wall work.
• Motorists should expect intermittent lane reductions on eastbound and westbound War Memorial Drive from Sterling Avenue to Meadowbrook Road from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 21, through Friday, May 25, for final shaping, topsoil and slope wall work.
• Motorist should expect alternating lane reductions on eastbound and westbound I-74 from I-474 to Sterling Avenue from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 21, through Friday, May 25, for guard rail work.

East Peoria

• Motorists should expect a lane reduction on Camp Street from Fairview Avenue to Main Street from 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 21, through 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, for bridge painting.
