Upgrade 74 Update

Peoria, IL -

Motorists should expect lane reductions on eastbound I-74 under the Sterling Avenue overpass from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, weather permitting. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during the work.

Motorist should also expect lane reductions from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, on westbound I-74 under the Sterling Avenue overpass for slope wall work.

Project information is available at www.upgrade74.com. Upgrade 74 is the complete rehabilitation of I-74 from East Peoria through Peoria. This is the largest construction project ever undertaken in downstate Illinois.
