Safety

Our biggest priority during Upgrade 74 is safety, the safety of motorists and the safety of the workers. During construction, it is extremely important to remain alert to all signs and obey workzone speed limits. There are several other things you can do when entering a construction zone:

• Merge as soon as you see a merge sign
• Turn on your headlights so motorists and workers can see you
• Pay close attention to signs and flaggers
• Keep up with the traffic flow
• Don’t change lanes
• Avoid distractions such as cell phones
