Upgrade 74 Update for the Week of October 28, 2007

Peoria, IL -

For the week of Oct. 28, 2007, the following locations will be under construction as part of Upgrade 74. The work is weather permitting, and updates may be necessary. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.

Peoria:

• No new updates to report.

East Peoria:

• Motorists should expect a left and center lane closure on eastbound I-74 from the Murray Baker Bridge to Main Street/IL-116 from 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, through 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, for joint work.
• Motorists should expect a right lane closure on eastbound I-74 from Riverside Drive to Main Street/IL-116 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, for joint work.
• Motorists should expect a traffic shift on Riverfront Drive ramp toward eastbound I-74 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, for joint work.
• Motorists should expect a road closure on Riverfront Drive ramp toward westbound I-74 from 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, through 6 a.m., Monday, Nov. 5, for pavement work. We suggest motorists use the Main Street/IL-116 entrance ramp to access westbound I-74 during this period.
