Peoria, IL -
Motorists should expect a right lane closure on westbound I-74 from Forrest Hill Avenue to Sterling Avenue from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 29, for landscaping. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.
Project information is available at www.upgrade74.com. Upgrade 74 is the complete rehabilitation of I-74 from East Peoria through Peoria. This is the largest construction project ever undertaken in downstate Illinois.
