Upgrade 74 Update

Peoria, IL -

The following locations will be under construction as part of Upgrade 74. The work is weather permitting, and updates may be necessary. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.

Peoria

• Motorists should expect a lane reduction on westbound I-74 from Forrest Hill Avenue to Sterling Avenue from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, and Thursday, June 21, for bridge work.
• Motorists should expect a lane reduction on westbound War Memorial Drive from Meadowbrook Road to Sterling Avenue from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, and Friday, June 22, for landscaping work.

East Peoria

• Motorists should expect a lane reduction on north and southbound IL-116/Main Street from I-74 to National Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, and Thursday, June 21, for pavement coring.
