Upgrade 74 Work for the Week of June 18, 2007

Peoria, IL -

For the week of June 18, 2007, the following locations will be under construction as part of Upgrade 74. The work is weather permitting, and updates may be necessary. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.

Peoria

• Motorists should expect a right lane closure on westbound I-74 from Forrest Hill Avenue to Sterling Avenue from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, for grading and topsoil work.
• Motorists should expect a right lane closure on westbound I-74 from Nebraska Avenue to Sterling Avenue from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, for grading, topsoil and pavement sealing work.
• Motorists should expect intermittent lane reductions on westbound War Memorial Drive from Meadowbrook Road to Sterling Avenue from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, for topsoil work.

East Peoria

• Motorists are reminded of a road closure on westbound Camp Street from Fairview Avenue to Main Street from 6 p.m. Friday, June 15, through 5 p.m. Sunday, June 17, for bridge painting. Access to westbound I-74 will be open; however, the remaining traffic on westbound Camp Street will be routed to Washington Street as a detour.
