Upgrade 74 Work for the Week of June 3, 2007

Peoria, IL -

For the week of June 3, 2007, the following locations will be under construction as part of Upgrade 74. The work is weather permitting, and updates may be necessary. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.

Peoria

• Motorists should expect a lane reduction on westbound I-74 from Nebraska Avenue to Sterling Avenue from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2, for pavement profiling — a method used to measure pavement smoothness and calculate ride quality.
• Motorists should expect intermittent lane reductions on eastbound and westbound War Memorial Drive from Sterling Avenue to Meadowbrook Road from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 4, through Friday, June 8, for topsoil work.

East Peoria

• Motorists should expect a lane reduction on northbound and southbound IL-116/Main Street from I-74 to National Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 4, and Friday, June 8, for pavement profiling.
• Motorists should expect a lane reduction on eastbound I-74 from Washington Street to Pinecrest Drive from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and westbound I-74 from Pinecrest Drive to Washington Street from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, June 4, through Friday, June 8, for guard rail work.
