Upgrade 74 Work for the Week of May 6, 2007

Peoria, IL -

For the week of May 6, 2007, the following locations will be under construction as part of Upgrade 74. The work is weather permitting, and updates may be necessary. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.

Peoria

• Motorists should expect intermittent lane reductions on eastbound and westbound War Memorial Drive from Sterling Avenue to Meadowbrook Road from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 7, through Friday, May 11, for final shaping, topsoil and slope wall work.

East Peoria

• Motorists should expect a road closure on Camp Street from Fairview Avenue to Main Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 6, for bridge painting. Motorists will be routed to Washington Street as a detour.
