Upgrade 74 Work for the Week of April 9, 2007

Peoria, IL -

For the week of April 9, 2007, the following locations will be under construction as part of Upgrade 74. The work is weather permitting, and updates may be necessary. A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect during construction.

Peoria

• Motorists should expect a lane reduction on eastbound I-74 from Sterling Avenue to Forest Hill Avenue from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, for slope wall construction.
• Motorists should expect intermittent lane reductions on both north and southbound Knoxville Avenue at the Pennsylvania Avenue intersection from 7 a.m. Monday, April 9, to 3 p.m. Friday, April 13, for storm sewer and curb work.

East Peoria

• Motorists should expect lane reductions on Main Street/IL-116 under I-74 from 8:30 a.m. Monday, April 9, to 3 p.m. Friday, April 13. Crews will be repairing sections of concrete.
