Upgrade 74 Construction Update

From 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, to 6 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, the westbound War Memorial Drive ramp to westbound I-74 will be closed for pavement smoothing. The ramp closure was originally scheduled for Monday, Nov. 27. Motorists should use the Sterling Avenue westbound I-74 ramp as an alternate route during the work.

Upgrade 74 is the complete rehabilitation of I-74 from East Peoria through Peoria. This is the largest construction project ever undertaken in downstate Illinois.
