Richard Dotson, P.E.Project Engineer, Illinois Department of Transportation--District Four
Rich Dotson serves as the Project Engineer for the I-74 reconstruction project in the Bureau of Program Development for the Illinois Department of Transportation in District 4. A ten-year veteran of the Department, he manages the consultants and support staff to ensure that construction plans are completed on time and within budget. Prior to working as Project Engineer, Rich served as the Resident Engineer for the reconstruction of the Fondulac Bridge and Camp Street in East Peoria. He has also been involved in several urban reconstruction projects in the Peoria area. His design experience includes coordinating plan completion for the reconstruction of Henderson Street in Galesburg, US 24 from Bartonville to US Route 9, US 24 at Cilco Lane, US 150 at the IL Route 6 interchange, and several smaller projects including pavement overlay and bridge replacement. Rich received a BS in General Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1992 and an MS in Civil Engineering from Bradley University in 1997. |
